Welcome To The MOONLIGHTING ADVISOR
(c) 1991 by John Mortz and The Americn Institute of Computer Technology
P.O. Box 2615, Pasadena, CA 91102 (818) 793-8429
Shareware Version: 1.0
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM
Enterprising individuals who wish to earn extra money moonlighting
with their computer will be interested in this expert advisory system.
There are more than 73 documented ways to moonlight. However, finding
a business which suits your personality and skills is the first step.
The MOONLIGHTING ADVISOR consults with you to find examples of people
with skills and temperaments similar to yours who are happily moon-
lighting with their computers. Their success may help you discover
your personal goldmine.
A series of self-surveys that measure your technical, business, people,
thinking, and entrepreneurial skills are administered by the program.
Each survey consist of 10 or 12 questions and takes only a few minutes
to complete. They are not long, but they do provide enough information
to enable the program to evaluate your aptitudes.
Finally, the MOONLIGHTING ADVISOR selects case studies of people with
similar skills and temperaments who are presently earning money at home
with their computers. By following their examples, you can do the same.
SHAREWARE DISTRIBUTIOM
The MOONLIGHTING ADVISOR is distributed as SHAREWARE. Although
you may have paid a distribution fee to cover copying charges,
you must still register the program if you continue to use it.
SHAREWARE is not FREEWARE. It is a method of distribution that lets

a registered user.

The MOONLIGHTING ADVISOR is an advisory system intended for educa-
tional purposes only. Its intent is to inform and entertain. It
is based on authorative information believed to be accurate by

INSTALLATION
You will need approximatly 400k of disk space in order to run The
MOONLIGHTING ADVISOR. Consequently, it has been compressed to fit
on either a 360k 5-1/4" floppy disk or 3-1/2" floppy disk. In either
case the installation procedure is the same.
1. Place the program disk in your A drive.
2. Type A: <Carriage Return>
3. At the A prompt, Type MOONLIGHT <Carriage Return>
4. The program will automatically install the program in a
directory called \MADVISOR.
You can start the program just by typing:
CD\MADVISOR <Carriage Return>
MADVISOR <Carriage Return>
HOW TO BEGIN:
The MOONLIGHTING ADVISOR is as easy to use as any program can be.
It is not necessary to read a manual or learn complicated commands,
because there is no manual. Everything is on line. The program
guides you step-by-step through the advisory session. Just answer
the questions and enjoy the experience.
I have found that the best way to explore all the options provided in
the MOONLIGHTING ADVISOR is to progress sequentially through all the
skill evaluation modules, one-by-one. However, I know some of you
prefer to quickstep through which ever module you wish to use.
Consequently, the program asks you which method you wish to use in
exploring the various skill tests and evaluation modules. If this
your first time using the program, I recommend that you stay on the
BEATEN PATH. Later there is ample time to explore on your own.
Good luck and good computing.
